Established relationships with parents means we can share information positively and effectively to support children as much as possible.

Hours of Operation
Our school operates in two batches – Morning batch- 9 am to 12 pm. Afternoon Batch- 12:30 pm to 3:30pm Day care services are available from – 9 am to 7.30pm

Communication
We encourage healthy communication between parents & and the school. For precise information records, we prefer only written communications (including medication, if any) for any message/ instructions given for the child to the school.

Medical Information
We are required under the Child Care and Early Years Act to have a copy of each child's immunization record or a statement of religious or conscientious objection to immunization.

Injuries
If your child is injured while at the centre, staff will administer basic first aid. If medical attention is required, attempts will be made to reach the parents immediately. Staff will call Emergency Services if required.

Clothing
The school children are expected to wear school uniforms everyday. An extra pair of clothes, towel & diaper has to be carried along with the children everyday. For daycare kids, towel, a sheet cover, extra pair of clothes have to be sent to the centre.

Nutrition
Ours is a pure veg school. We serve pure veg (Jain / non-Jain food) to our children. All the parts of their meal information is recorded and sent to the parents.

Hours of Operation
Eligible hours of care are based on parent's working hours plus one half hour for picking up of your child. For example: If your working or school hours are 9:00am-4:30pm then your eligible hours of care are 8:30am-5:00pm.

Communication
Open communication between parents and staff is strongly encouraged. Teachers are encouraged to learn what is important to you as a parent and to use that information when programming for the group.

Exploration often requires getting messagey! All of the materials that we use are washable however, we are aware that some paint colours and other materials are difficult to fully remove.

Children are encouraged to taste a variety of foods but no child is ever forced to eat foods that they do not wish to. All parts of the meal make up a child's nutritional requirement; therefore no food will be withheld.

The three week rotating menu is planned according to the Food Guide and recommendations from our local Public Health Unit. All food is cooked with consideration of maintaining its full nutritional value. The centre provides a morning and afternoon snack and a midday lunch. Our standards exceed the following guidelines:

Ambience & Infrastructure
The school premises is creatively designed keeping in mind the curiosity and innocence of the children. Being their first step to the school, the premises bears all the safety and hygiene requirements needed for the comfort of our children. Each wall is conceptually painted to capture the essence of their favourite childhood poems and songs. The school is continuously monitored via CCTV cameras to ensure complete safety of the kids.

Understanding children’s behavior
Behavior Guidance
Positive and consistent techniques should be used to encourage children whose play actions are both appropriate and inappropriate.
Preferred Practices

Positive verbal and gestural reinforcement for appropriate behaviour, redirection of inappropriate behaviour

One verbal request (ensuring understanding) followed by gentle physical assistance

Teaching and practicing of preferred behaviours in order to help children habituate skills and learn self discipline

Prohibited Practices

Corporal punishments of any child (spanking, hitting, shaking, etc.)
