Amidst the challenges posed by the pandemic, Microsoft, in collaboration with Tech Event and CBSE, has launched an innovative initiative aimed at revolutionizing education. Spearheaded by Manager Meenakshi Kashyap, this initiative focuses on empowering students, teachers, and parents with technology-driven learning experiences.
The program entails selecting one school from each district, with Abalone Public School in the Nighasan area being the proud recipient. Here, a thousand 8th -grade students will undergo specialized training in digital and hybrid learning under the guidance of CBSE experts.
Manager Meenakshi Kashyap highlighted the multifaceted nature of the initiative, which extends beyond hybrid learning to encompass financial digital literacy and health programs. In the hybrid learning model, classrooms will be transformed into studios equipped with 40 laptops, facilitating interactive sessions led by CBSE experts.
Furthermore, a select group of thousand students from grades 10 and 12 will receive comprehensive training in digital literacy, with internship opportunities at Microsoft and certification upon completion. A notable aspect is the inclusion of 200 students from Abalone Public School, with plans to select an additional 800 participants from other schools.
The impact of these programs was underscored by their recognition at the Gem Forum of the G20 conference in Pune, garnering widespread acclaim within the education community. This collaborative effort represents a significant step towards leveraging technology for inclusive and transformative education.
